Welcome to Savage-Leigh - a family owned and operated dairy milking 250 Registered Holsteins and marketing genetics world-wide. Our breeding program has a strong focus on high type and production. We strive to breed and develop strong transmitting cow families. The current Rolling Herd Average is 2X 25,686 4.0% 1022 3.0% 788. We crop farm 1200 acres and grow all our own forages. Our farm is located in Frederick County, Maryland and is rich with historic Civil War history. We are conveniently located within an hour of three major airports (Reagan National, Baltimore-Washington International and Washington Dulles).
